I believe that our individual healing journeys are each unique to who we are and how we wish to live our lives. I will meet you where you are and support you to discover your own path to healing.
 

About Me

 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in San Francisco since 2015. I am an East-coaster originally from Western Massachusetts.  I first began my career as a social worker over 15 years ago working in residential treatment and domestic violence crisis counseling.  I offer in-person and online therapy services for teens ages 15+ and adults with a range of mental health issues. 

My areas of support include:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • childhood trauma

  • sexual assault and intimate partner violence 

  • single incident trauma

  • addiction and substance use 

  • disordered eating

  • chronic/ invisible illness

  • anger and emotional dysregulation

I also have specialized knowledge in traumatic brain injuries/ concussions, chronic lyme, and autism spectrum disorder.

In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog on the beach,  I find solace in nature and believe in the healing power of laughter, love, and deep connection.

My Approach

My approach combines psychodynamic and harm reduction therapies, tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I utilize evidence-based treatments like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), EFT (emotional freedom technique)/tapping, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
